SPARK on the March in the Inman Park Parade

Description

We will have a group Marching in the Inman Park Parade on April 28th (meet at 1:00 on Edgewood between Krog and Waddell, Parade at 2:00pm down Euclid) to highlight being the greenest school in APS. Wear your SPARK attire OR dress entirely in green. I mean, GREEN--everything green, hair, shoes, pants, fingernails…. Or dress like a dragon. Or bring a dragon. We want to be noticed!

We’ll be singing lots of songs (email Ms. Turgeon for the song list and chords or if you have suggestions), tossing out SPARK seed packets (BYO), and letting folks know about our awesome school. We need guitarists or instrumentalists (kids or adults) who can play along, and singers and walkers with lots of enthusiasm and school spirit. We could also use a banner (any volunteers??).

Parents, teachers, students, administrators, and friends are welcome to march—I have signed up for 40-60 participants.

This group will be separate from the SPARK/MES/Lin/Hope-Hill Band group who will also be marching unless we do not have at least 25 marchers by Wed. April 25th. .

If you're interested in helping, playing (anything—guitar, clarinet, tambourine, washboard…), or walking please let me know by April 25th. If we don’t have enough volunteers to march independently we will march along and support the Band kids instead.
