ABOUT RALPH JOHNSON BUNCHE

- Attended UCLA, Harvard, Northwestern, and the London School of Economics
- Was a political scientist and diplomat who received the 1950 Nobel Peace Prize for his 1940s mediation in Palestine; was the first man of color to be awarded the Nobel Prize.
