Shortly after, I began my teaching career at Cleveland Avenue Elementary where I once attended. I have been teaching in Atlanta Public Schools for 11 years. This is my fifth year at Continental Colony and second year as the Gifted and Talented teacher. I hold Reading and Gifted Endorsements and a Master’s of Education in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) from Grand Canyon University. I had the honor of being named the 2009 Teacher of Year for CCES. MY PHILOSOPHY “Every child has gifts. It is up to us to foster them.” |
