E. L. Connally Department of Special Education The Department of Special Education at E. L. Connally serves students with an Individualized Education Program (IEP). At Connally, we serve students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), Significant Developmental Delays (SDD), and Mild Intellectual Disabilities (MID), Emotional/Behavioral Disorders (EBD), Other Health Impairments (OHI), Orthopedic Impairments (OI), and Speech-Language Impairments (SI). We also provide students with related services to meet their individual needs. These services include: Adapted Physical Education, Occupational Therapy (OT) and Physical Therapy (PT). Connally currently has five special education teachers on staff; two Interrelated (IRR), one Emotional/Behavioral Disorder (EBD), one Orthopedic Impairments (OI), and one Speech-Language Impairment (SI). |
