Hello Parents and all Stakeholders/Bonjour
 
 Hello wonderful visitors to my webpage. My name is Mrs. Carol Ugonna.  I am married to a wonderful husband, and we have five children. My first child is a 15 year old boy, 2nd is a 13 year old girl, 3rd is a 12 year old boy, and my baby is an 11 year old boy. My stepson is 24. I received my Bachelors in French from University of Calabar, Nigeria, French Education Teacher Certification (PreK-12) from Georgia State University and Masters in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University. I have been teaching at Fickett since 2001. I am currently a dedicated 1st through 5th grade French teacher. However, I am involved in other school improvement activities, such as Student Support Team (SST) co-chair, Leadership Team, French Club, mentoring students, In School Suspension (ISS), Career Awareness, and Reading.  I have served in several capacities/committees such as Science Fair, Design Team, Charm Club,  Courtesy team, Foreign Language mentor, assessor and coach. 

            My ultimate goal is to help my students become life-long learners who are ready for college, careers and the world as stipulated by Common Core. Happy ending of the 2012-2013 school year. It was indeed a pleasure serving as a faculty member of the illustrious Fickett Elementary School. I look forward to another rewarding and fulfilled year. Have a great summer holiday and see you bright and early on August 7, 2013. The students will need a notebook and folder for French classes. If the one from last year was not overused, it can be reused. My classroom wish list includes: Kleenex, Lysol spray, room deodorizer spray, Clorox wipes, hand soap, hand sanitizers, paper towels, wet wipes, hand held pencil sharpeners,  pencils and erasers.
