Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to 3^rd grade!  We are elated to have the opportunity to work with you and your child during the 2012-2013 school year. 

At Cascade Elementary, the Common Core/Georgia Performance Standards (CCGPS) are taught through the use of technology, innovative lessons, and performance tasks.  To keep abreast of the topics that are being discussed in class, a homework packet will be sent home with your child daily.  Please make sure all assignments are completed and returned the following day.

It is parents’ enthusiasm, support, and involvement that inspires children to do their best.  Therefore, we encourage your participation by volunteering and/or donating supplies to support our educational program. 

Again, welcome to third grade.  By working together, we can make this the most rewarding and productive school year ever!
