Welcome to First Grade

Dear Parents,

We are excited to have your child in first grade. It is our goal to help your child reach his/her maximum academic potential, including mastery of the first grade standards established by the Georgia Department of Education. Parental involvement plays a vital role in student achievement. Please continue to take an active role by helping your child with homework, discussing the day’s learning activities with your child, and making sure your child comes to school prepared and ready to learn. We are sure if we work together your child will have a very productive and successful school year.
