Mathematics

Our mission is to increase mathematics achievement for all APS students by providing a rigorous and relevant mathematics curriculum, and professional development that reflects both the art and science of effective mathematics teaching.  Our goal is to collaborate with schools and their communities to empower APS students to successfully use mathematics as a tool for reasoning and informed decision making.

 

Currently, the APS Mathematics Curriculum is based upon the Common Core Georgia Performance Standards (CCGPS) for grades K - 9, and the Georgia Performance Standards (GPS) for grades 10 - 12.
