Blasting Off with Third Grade at Usher!

Greetings,

We are so excited to welcome you to the third grade community here at
Usher-Collier Elementary school. We look forward to a year of fireworks with your child; one in which they will transform into independent, responsible, aspiring leaders of tomorrow! We have high expectations for our students and plan to motivate them to reach for the stars, as they take this wonderful journey of learning. We believe in teamwork and will have the pleasure of interacting with each third grade student that enters our community.

We hope that you will stay active and involved in this third grade experience, as it will be a demanding one. Third grade is a critical grade for the CRCT and ALL students must pass the Reading portion of the test in order to be promoted to the fourth grade. Therefore, we want to work together to ensure that your child has all the assistance they need to prepare them for academic success.
