 Blythers with student Our Goals
Our school family will “break-the-mold” of traditional schooling. Centennial Place students will become:
• Competitors in the global academic arena

  It is with these goals in mind that we present the data to show our gains in student achievement.
  • Centennial Place went from making 52% of the superintendent's targets to making 71% (preliminary results)
  • Fifth grade writing scores went from 77% to 94%; 17% increase with 23% in exceeding category
  • 90.9% of all 3-5 met or exceeded in Reading
  • 93.7% of 3-5th graders met or exceeded ELA (AYP)
  • 82.2% of 3-5th graders met or exceeded Mathematics (AYP)
  • 6% increase in 3rd grade reading ITBS
  • 5% increase in 5th grade reading ITBS
  • 9% increase in 5th grade math ITBS
  • Centennial Place made AYP eight consecutive years in a row; Distinguished Title I School four years in a row
