2014-2015 Charter Petitioners

Atlanta Public Schools is no longer accepting Letters of Intent (LOI) for the 2014-2015 school year.

If you are submitting a petition for the 2014-2015 school year, please review the 2014-2015 Petitioner Guidelines for application procedures. In addition, petitioners can also review our evaluation rubric for the application.

The Performance Frameworks has been added per APS Request for Petition page 20. Section D. School Achievement Goals and Nonacademic Performance Goals

The school agrees to have its academic, financial and organizational performance measured using the APS Performance Framework metrics. Decisions regarding renewal, probation and closing will be based upon the school’s results, as defined by the framework.

Two approved charter petitions are available for review. These additions are intended for potenital petitioners who may need to see an example of a fully executed petition.*

Please keep in mind that the attached information is for review only and you will need to do your own data gathering and analysis for your application. Similarly, cutting and pasting from the attached documents is not permitted.
