 The Gifted Academy
Our gifted academy is designed to offer those students who excel academically the chance to engage in an instructional program that offers the necessary rigor and challenge to help the students reach their full potential. Students enrolled in this academy are identified gifted students. The teachers in this academy are specially trained to offer our gifted students the enhanced instruction and learning that they need. Our goal is that every teacher at Brown will be gifted certified and all of our students will be able to fully develop the gifts that they have.
 
 The Single Gender Academies
All students are matriculating through gender academies. Research has shown that at this age boys and girls learn differently and homogenously grouped classes offer each gender the opportunity to take advantage of instruction geared toward their learning styles.
 
Off to a Great Start
We are off to a great start this year. All students are excited, the faculty and staff are enthusiastic, and our parents and community are supportive. I predict that with all of us working together toward the same goals we will have a fantastic year here at Brown.
