The Fourth Grade Team

Hello!  I am Mrs. E. Andrews and I would like to welcome you to my webpage.  I am an Early Intervention Plan (EIP) and Accelerated Support Plan (ASP) teacher at Perkerson Elementary for the 2011-2012 school year.  Let me share a little about the EIP and ASP programs:
  • ASP- Accelerated Support Program - The primary focus of the program is to foater enriched learning opportunities in the areas of reading and math based upon CRCT results, classroom diagnostics, and teacher observations.  In small groups, students benefit from instructional practices and activites that are tailored to address their academic needs.
  • EIP- Early Intervention Program -  The Early Intervention Program (EIP) is designed to serve students who are at risk of not reaching or maintaining academic grade level. The purpose of the Early Intervention Program is to provide additional instructional resources to help students who are performing below grade level obtain the necessary academic skills to reach grade level performance in the shortest possible time.  For more information about the Early Intervention Program, please visit the Georgia Department of Education website. http://www.doe.k12.ga.us/Curriculum-Instruction-and-Assessment/Curriculum-and-Instruction/Pages/Early-Intervention-Program.aspx
