What is AP ?

The Advanced Placement Program is an American program in which secondary school students in the United States can pursue advanced courses that are generally eligible for college credit. Participating colleges grant credit and/or advanced placement to students who obtain high scores on the examinations. Students whose competency and consistency of effort are judged unacceptable by the teacher during the school year can be asked to withdraw from the course.
