Welcome to the South Atlanta School of Law and Social Justice where we are empowering the next generation of leaders for positive change. The School of Law and Social Justice is one of four small schools at the South Atlanta High Educational Complex. In serving approximately 260 students in grades 9 through 12, we provide a complete college preparatory curriculum and personalized experience to our students.

The themes of Law and Social Justice provide a unique vehicle for developing important critical thinking skills and social awareness necessary for students to be successful in the 21st Century. As part of the curriculum, students take unique courses such as Forensic Science, Current Issues, Street Law, Sociology and Criminology. These courses are taught in our recently renovated building which includes a 115-person courtroom, law library, science and computer labs. In addition to work done inside the classroom we seek to provide student with authentic career and college experiences through partnerships with local corporations, bar associations, colleges, universities and law firms such as Oglethorpe University, Georgia State University, Turner Broadcasting, Macy's and the Georgia Bar Association.

By leveraging these resources and work of a dynamic faculty we work to ensure that all of our students are prepared for college, the workplace and success after high school.
