The School of Health Sciences and Research focuses on preparing high school students for careers in the medical field.

Having a student population of a little over 400 students, Principal Darian C. Jones and the Dreamkeepers of the 'LAB' instruct students in the areas of Emergency Medicine, Nursing, and other medical pathways. Students are often engaged in programs with partners such as Emory University, Morehouse College, Spelman College, and Georgia Institute of Technology.
